Overharvest

Greetings Hierophant,

When one follows the letter of the law instead of the spirit, you end up
breaking it.

I stand fast by Silverfox because I have been around him countless times
when he harvests and takes the greatest care when he has been harvesting
of late. I have on countless times seen him not even harvest the room
bare, leaving herbs for those after him.

Since you have not denied nor disreguarded that Silverfox's accounts are
false, and see them as true and a sense of 'unfortunate but wish I could
do more but law is the law' attitude. The view you are now portraying
for Oakstone is money grubbers who care about the gold instead of
Nature.

The facts which you even agree to is the ONLY crime that Silverfox
committed was he harvested in an overharvested room, even though
lastharvest shows Ysbaddaden, who was warned AND told countless times
that the room is being harvested. Silverfox then STOPPED with he
accounts as 30 kola left, 25 kola above minimum harvest. How, I can ask,
is he responisible for overharvesting? Simple logic AND your own minimum
harvesting laws indicate that he didn't overharvest. His only crime was
being in a room WARNING a druid about the dangers of overharvesting,
which the druid apparently ignored.

Hell, in my view Silverfox was trying to protect nature, which last time
I checked was Oakstones charter and goal, and promptly got fined and
enemied for it.

Now, since you then agree that said facts are true in the case, and the
fact that Silverfox's actions can very much be construed as trying to
protect nature, and with your enemying of him can be construed by many
now as greedy, and on a more personal matter, detrimental to Nature and
wishing to harm it? By this reasoning you should enenmy yourself to
Oakstone for it.

Sounds ridiculous, I know. But thats what a lot of these laws are when
you follow them to the letter and not the spirit.

For The Pack, The Hunt and Lupus,

Lord Morkael Thelsum
Knight of Lupus

Penned by my hand on the 7th of Daedalan, in the year 344 AF.
