Hypocrisy

'Beast' of the East,
Whenever did you, a gibbering filet of a tsol'aa in the prime of life,
come upon the senseless idea that one could ever compare unholy Mhaldor
to holy Shallam? I certainly have not the foggiest notion. Why a member
of the Holy Church of all that is Light and Righteous and Good would
suggest such a blasphemic notion is as hypocritical as the dung you
fling from your own posterior.
Hypocrisy walks hand in hand with deception. It is the homage vice pays
to virtue. It is a tool, but while those that lurk within the shadows of
the craggy slopes known as Mhaldor pride themselves on mastery of such
an engine, the general conception of a hypocrite casts an unfavorable
sheen on the person that acts under it.
This, then, could be construed to be one of Evil's greater triumphs. The
absence of virtue in one that claims himself to possess, with naught a
finger raised to assist him betwixt what is most moral and what is most
not. No, it is quite simple for even the blind to see how hypocrisy is
present in even the most bombastic and swollen-headed of the virtuous.
