Well, let me first congratulate everyone who participated in the Year
200 competitions. There were happy spirits all around and everyone
behaved in a most sportsmanlike manner.
First came the Quiz, which focused mainly on Achaean history questions,
with some real-life mythology and a couple miscellaneous questions
tossed in.
Placing first in this event was Asmodaeus with 9 points. Second was
Kassandra with 8. Third was Naiad with 7, and tying for 4th were
Vieira and Aekold with 6 points.
After this was a single-elimination one on one combat tournament.
Placing first here was Morpheus, while Isildur came in second,
Danicar (a real surprise. Well done Danicar!) third, and Jordi and
Changcoix tying for 4th place.
Finally came the big egg hunt, where Eris and Myself placed eggs
of various colours around the land, and people gathered them.
Placing first in this event was Isildur, with a stunning 186 points.
He benefited from being apparently quite popular and having many people
donate their eggs to him. In second place was Asmodaeus with 89 points,
followed by Jordi in third place with 59 points, Morpheus in 4th place
with 57 points, and Kassandra with 11 points in 5th place.
From these numbers, Isildur and Asmodaeus emerged as the clear winners
of the overall competition, tying with 9 overall points. Morpheus was
next with 7 points, and then Jordi and Kassandra rounded out the leader
board with 5 points each. A race was held between Isildur and Asmodaeus
to determine who would receive first place, and Isildur managed to win
this.
So, upon the completion of the race, I presented the Staff of Nicator,
whose powers will remain nameless, unless Isildur chooses to tell, to
Isildur. Asmodaeus received 500 lessons, Morpheus received 300, and
Jordi and Kassandra each received 150, though due to a previous
arrangement, Aekold received 50 of Jordi's lessons.
All in all I felt it was a very successful day, and I am pleased so
many turned out to celebrate this momentus day.
Penned by my hand on the 11th of Ero, in the year 200 AF.
