The basis of this post is that the rumors are true and there is another
black wave approaching as the prophet predicated and its time is close
at hand. That is a lot of ifs to swallow, but there is a point to this.

If this is true, there will be a renewed cry to find Seleucar because
that was the seat of power that broke the first wave. This is true.
However, understand that all Seleucar is right now is a piece of dirt
with buildings on it. And pieces of dirt with buildings on it tend to
cause more problems then they solve. Why? Well because as Ashtan is the
pre-eminent power on Sapience obviously that piece of dirt belongs to
Ashtan. Or... As the keepers of the light that shines against the
darkness of the black wave obviously it belongs to Shallam. Or..
obviously its a sign from above that Szanthax's capital has been found
once more and he shall rule all. Pieces of dirt tend to cause strife,
and if the rumors are true we do not need strife.

Seleucar worked because it had a purpose. That is what makes any city
great. Its purpose was to break the wave. After its purpose was
accomplished it became what it always was. Property to be argued over
and power that was to be bartered for. In the end, it collapsed as any
city who's purpose has ended would.

So do keep this thought in mind should the prophet's words hold true.
Those that dream are looking into the matter as well as we can as I am
sure every order is for the Black Wave is not something to be dismissed
easily.

Oh, with that in mind... I do hope this is not a ruse. Crying wolf on
this matter tends to make everyone angry. Of course that would be one
way to unite everyone behind a common purpose.
