My ramblings

Dearest Jardel (and anyone else who gives a crap)

I wish you the best of luck in rejoining the Druids. However, don't get
your hopes up, my friend. Several years ago, about 10, I had sent Conor
a message in regards to rejoining. Actually, I had sent Deonymus a
message about rejoining years before that even. Finally, I knew it was
the right thing for me to do. I needed to be with my family of Druids.
Anyways, it took Conor about 8 months to reply to my question. He then
told me to write him a letter, which I greatfully did. I poured my heart
out, explaining everything, yada yada. And appare;ntly he posted it on
some board and told people to give him input. There was never a vote
over the counsel whether or not I could rejoin. After about another 8
months, I asked Conor, if he had received my letter, and he told me that
my letter was too bitter, and basically that it wasn't good enough. I
had to wait 2 MORE years and write him another letter. To this day, I
don't know why another letter was going to make any difference, since I
feel the same way. I was told by a few secretaries that Conor personally
didn't want me to come back to the druids for various PERSONAL reasons.
Here are a few: 1. I am very bold, outspoken, and opinionated. Having
these qualities is scary to Conor because he has to have everything done
his way. 2. A few Sentinels *coughcovenantcough* do not like me and some
believe I am a bit TOO Neutral. Excuse me, but I thought that the Druids
were taught to be neutral when it came to politics. But anyways. Conor
felt threatened apparently, that if he inguilded me, the sentinels
wouldn't back him up. Pers
onally, I think that this is a cop out, and is very weak as a leader.
How can someone not back up another who is loyal to the same cause? That
disgusted me. 3. This reason may not be as personal, but I was told that
"the forestals are too busy for me" So I have to wait 7 years and still
no response because they are busy with politics. I thought the druids
were loyal to one another? I understand the herb ban and whatnot, but 7
or 8 years is a bit much to ignore someone.
Anyways, again, I wish you luck. It's pointless to explain your
reasonings, Jardel. If Conor likes you, you're in. If Conor doesn't, you
won't be accepted. And always remember that politicians don't give a
crap about you as a person. So, don't waste your time explaining what
you have done for Nature, as it really serves no cause.
I have come to accept the fact that I will not get in the guild as long
as Conor is GM. That's okay though! I am still a druidess and will
always be a druidess. What the Druids taught me, is who I am today, and
I am thankful for that.
I will continue to listen to what the winds tell me, and nurture what I
have loved my whole life, Nature.

End of story! *twirl*
-Ariella Yuy D'Stellis-Moonflair

PS. And on another kind of funny note... Conor snubbed me for some
reason! That's really mature.

Penned by my hand on the 6th of Sarapin, in the year 336 AF.
