Viva la revolutione!

Today, two historic events have taken place. Not one, but two. Firstly, The Kharon Empire met with an Ambassador to the Druids, represented by Gaia and Haidion, and they agreed to a treaty which grants Druids freedom from the Kharon Empire. Secondly, Gaia loved her guild too much.
In negotiation of the treaty, Gaia made her final trade-off: the extinction of her dream for the continuation of a falsehood. The treaty grants Druids freedom, but only if they step out of the Empire's way. Gaia loved her daughter-guild too much to see it crushed by Kharon and as such, signed the death warrant for our most sacred beliefs.
The Druids exist to maintain the balance of the earth. We see crops get planted, we see animals die and be reborn, we see that people live fair and equitable lives. The Empire disrupts this balance.
An Empire, by definition, needs constant growth in order to support itself. And if it constantly grows, the number of those outside Kharon 'protection' shrinks. It has grown far worse than has been estimated, for I posed this question to Morpheus at the treaty negotiation meeting:
Gretyl: "Will the Kharon Empire eventually protect all citizens?"
To which, Morpheus, Speaker for the Kharon Empire replied:
Sensei Morpheus, Grand Father of the Temple says, "The Empire already protects all citizens, Gretyl."
In agreeing to the treaty, Druids lose our voice. We no longer maintain the balance we have fought for, lived for, and died for. We consign and submit to that ever-gaping maw, the ever-expanding abyss of despair called the Kharon Empire.
Now I ask of you, all true Druids (in guild and in heart) out there, to break with the treaty and have yourself be heard. Push against the rank and file of the empire! Join the freedom fighters! Let your voice be heard!
Long live the Druids,
Gretyl the Mediator
