Just a quick thort on the current topic of debate . . .

Technically its not "Survival of the Fittest", but "Survival by
Necessity".

A commonly made mistake when talking about said theory.

Survival of the Fittest means the indiscriminate slaughter of the weak
by the strong. If only the fit survive then all weakness must have been
destroyed.

Predators do not seek to destroy /all/ of their pray, they simply
require them to feed from. If the stocks of pray become depleted then so
do the numbers of predators as their food source is removed. But, with
the removal of the predators from the system the pray are given a chance
to thrive.

They exist in a state of coexistence. A balance is kept and maintained.
They survive by necessity, not by strength.

Oakstone could learn a thing or two from the very ecosystems it claims
to protect.
