Greetings, All
I am far from an expert on all things Green, but allow me to extrapolate
for you, my understanding of certain things after a few years of having
some green friends and family. (... well, I call them family.)
All things has a place in the pulse of life. There's a cycle, you see,
and all things fit into that cycle somewhere. Even us Daemonesses.
-wink- From there we struggle as prey, and as hunter, in a great cycle
that is always moving. Life springs from this cycle, where this is no
great master who controls it, it just simply, IS.
Where there is life, there is death. Death, fire, extermination,
elimination is a necessary part of all cycles, for what is destroyed,
returns to the bosom of life to nourish the land again. Death is a
necessary part of all Life.. and Nature, and the Wild. It was nature, at
the very beginnings of all life which derived the concept I once heard
referred to as "Survival of the Fittest" where the weaklings of nature,
the useless portions of life that detract from the whole, are quickly
left behind, Nature being the force to drive the strong forward. The
Death of the Weak, becomes the nourishment for the Strong driving them
forward in the Cycle.
Now I could attempt to sway this and force the concept one prior to me
has put out that Nature is Evil--that the very concepts of Lord Sartan
border on ---heh--the Nature, of Nature. But, I wont.
I dont believe Nature is either Good, or Evil. I believe that nature has
no place standing in the realm of either extreme, and should therefore
be, as so many claim but so few accomplish... Neutral.
Now lets not confuse what Nature is, or does.. with the strongarmed
dictators of Oakstone. Elsp and Covenant, top of the Lady Demeters
Order-leaders of Oakstone, Leaders of Sentinels. They have quite a
position of power and influence, dont they? They know everyone uses
their toys so they like to keep control over all of them, refusing a
playdate in their sandbox to those they dont deem "worthy."
The man who steps ahead of a charging horse is trampled, but he who tugs
upon the reigns may change the beast's path. Say what you will about the
Man charching upon a Charging horse, but that man is following through
with his beliefs. It is truly the man behind the reigns who can choose
to charge forward, or pull the reigns.
A Dedicated Servant to the Lady of Sin.. And always in Service to Evil,
Appolonia
