Firstly, let it be known that this comes from a completely neutral point
of view, and that I take no sides in this matter. I realize were I not
neutral, this might sound absurd-- but it is what I have to say.

So far, the lead-up to a possible war has seemed to me to be nothing but
childish bickering. Retorts shot back and forth at each other
accomplishing nothing more but then to "muddy up" the other side. You
sound like two children arguing over whose toy is better (no
metaphorical relationship intended- I realize that this IS, indeed, a
serious matter). Nothing said in these posts has any political meaning
or power; it sounds like you are only trying so correct each other, time
after time after time.

I know that a war at this time would be devastating, to say the least. I
am in no way attempting to encourage it. But honestly, folks, isn't it
about time? Individual deaths and attacks with no clear, long term goal
in mind are becoming a harm to the hundreds of Achaeans who only want to
live their lives. Your bickering needs to end. Both sides bring up VERY
valid and credible points, but arguing about them does nothing.

Please, on behalf of Achaeans everywhere-- whether the verdict be war or
peace-- please do SOMETHING and do it SOON. The faster it starts, the
faster life can return to the status quo. I would rather see this turn
out peacefully, but if bloodshed is inevitable, get it over with. That
is all I have to say. Either side may hate me now, but I think I speak
on the behalf of many.
