Peace and Quiet

First of all, to all the various organizations who have shown support
for the Oakstone herb ban in any manner at all, I would like to extend
Oakstone's thanks. Your efforts are both welcome and appreciated.
Yig, dear Yig.. you consistently make public statements and boasts that
Oakstone's herb ban has no effect on you, other than cheapening your
herbs of course. Obviously then, we are doing you a favour. Mhaldorian
gratitude is rather unique, isn't it?
It's simply astounding how much attention an herb ban receives from your
people when it apparantly has no results.
Do you really think that if you keep saying something people will
magically start to believe it?
Oakstone has no interest in a voice in your government. If your 'time
honoured law' regarding exterminators had been applied you would not be
facing this situation. However, you chose to apply your own law
unevenly, to ignore those who broke it whenever it was convenient for
you, to render your law and word meaningless.
You made the choice to harbour exterminators, and it was your choice to
make.
Just as it was Oakstone's choice to apply an herb ban to you, to outlaw
the gifting of Nature's bounty to those who see fit to destroy it or to
support those who do.
Mhaldor's not at war, it's not even taking aggressive action. Simply
conducting its own business. So how about it starting to do so more
quietly?
Elsp La'Saen,
Hierophant of Oakstone.
