The Seven Truths of Evil - Mhaldor vs. Oakstone

In the intrests of satire, for your entertainment here is a
comparison of the actions of Oakstone and Mhaldor in recent months.
The beauty of the comparison is that it is done on the tenets of
the Seven Truths of Evil.

(Disclaimer: This is intended as a toy, and not for consumption
for those who behave like children.)

1) What is called evil is simply the drive for advancement, for
greatness. We seek, through discipline and pain, to spur the
advancement of nothing less than sentient life.

Here we see Oakstone protecting sentient life, and Mhaldor doing
nothing more than advancing it's destruction. The forest shows
discipline in its actions, Mhaldor has felt much pain.

OAKSTONE 1 - 0 MHALDOR

2) Cruelty - the application of pain - is the method by which
one weeds out the weak and feeble-minded from the population.

Mhaldor are certainly more cruel, but then they're also very much
representative of most of the weak and feeble-minded of the world.
Then again they haven't managed to apply too much pain, despite
their best efforts. Still, I'll give them a point.

OAKSTONE 1 - 1 MHALDOR

3) Weakness must be eliminated in all its forms: Physical,
Mental, and Spiritual.

Here we see that Oakstone are certainly worthy of a point, the
forests have done much to curb Mhaldor's physical attacks; they
have remained faithful to their spiritual protection of the realms
of the green lady, and mentally have watched and maintained a
campaign in the herb ban that was tight and impressive. On the other
hand Mhaldor have not done to eliminate any weakness, especially
their own.

OAKSTONE 2 - 1 MHALDOR

4) The enemies of strength are those who trumpet the effeminate
values of forgiveness, tolerance, and laxity of discipline.

A point to both teams here, neither have backed down from their
opinions (despite kicking out Dalamar to appease the forests). In
the end they both followed their way to war.

OAKSTONE 3 - 2 MHALDOR

5) The body may be made stronger through combat.

Since on this truth there is no mention of whether it is victory or
defeat that strengthens the body both sides receive a point. Mhaldor
for their deaths, Oakstone for their kills.

Oakstone 4 - 3 Mhaldor

6) The mind may be made stronger through the elimination of
conscience. One does this by inflicting pain on others.

Well beside the fact that Mhaldor need to strengthen their minds
quite significantly, both sides have ruthlessly inflicted pain.
Mhaldor have scarred the forest, but wear many scars for it.

OAKSTONE 5 - 4 MHALDOR

7) The spirit may be made stronger by enduring hardships, both
self-imposed and externally-imposed.

Well here's the final point. Since Mhaldor have now inflicted so
many hardships upon themselves and had hardships imposed, they
do not seem any stronger, nor do they stop inviting more hardship.

OAKSTONE 5 - MHALDOR 5

At the moment both sides are looking mutually evil.

You see Sartan, you made a city to rule and be strong, and they
have betrayed you by becoming the oppressed. They are the group of
anti-social misanthropes that cannot listen to reason. I don't
forsee Mhaldor finding strength until they realise that there is
more to life than falling upon the end of a sword. At least there
is for those of us that are civilized.

Sincerely,
