Oakstone tyranny

Oakstone has lost all legitimacy in my eyes. Once I was proud to call
myself a member of the Council. That was before the Heirophants ousted
all members of the council. That was before Oakstone gave legitimacy to
a city in the forest. That was before Oakstone took to tyranny to deal
with their allies.

I have lived in the same peaceful spot along the Zaphar for nearly forty
years. For much of that time I have had a totem, having been given
approval by Oakstone. As preparations for war approached I received a
message from Elsp, an Oakstone Hierophant. She inquired as to whether
I'd mind removal of my totem to place an Oakstone totem. I replied that
I did mind. She replied that unfortunately for me the Hierophants may
have to withdraw permission to have a personal totem in my grove. She
said the matter would be discussed and that I'd be kept informed.

Imagine my surprise when I return to find that without informing me at
all the totem in my grove was in fact replaced by one tuned to Oakstone.
Surprised? Well, only somewhat. Oakstone's fine Hierophants have a sad
track record of acting first and considering those actions only later.
We have seen this with the absolution of the Council, kicking out all
members without any discussion. I am sickened by Oakstone's strongarm
tactics when it comes to their staunchest allies.

While I will do everything in my power to defend the plants and animals
as I see fit and will follow the lead of my Guild, Oakstone has become
little more than a tyranny of ill thought rash actions, thoughtlessness
and tyranny.

Naturally,
