Mhaldor, and other various and assorted things

With all due respect, Lord Sartan, since you
keep bringing up my name particularly, I thought it was time
to address at least some of the issues you are bringing
up.
During the negotiations, there was one final sticking point.
I would point out that while I was present at the
meetings, I was neither in charge of them nor
responsible for them occuring. That one final
sticking point was whether Detritus would at the
least pay his fine and rectify his enemy status
with Oakstone. The Mhaldor representatives went
quiet at this point, and Dalamar showed up and attempted
to be his usual churlish self. Oakstone enacted
their ban after that.
In your assessment of Dalamar and your doubt
that he has even been hunted by forestals,
I would point out the following: His attempt
to be a mark was shortlived, and indeed the
forestals had a part in convincing him that being
a mark member was not a path to success for him.
His head has been repeatedly piked in Eleusis,
we even use it in our fundraising. He does indeed
hide regularly, when he is not busy attempting
to issue people after killing their entities
and dying as a result of it. If this is the best
champion You can get, one who quits the mark
because of repeated death, hides in a Temple
and the one city he is not enemied from, then
things will certainly be fun as words continue to be exchanged.
As to war with Mhaldor that I seem to be singled out
for, I find that interesting. I would ask You, with
all due respect, for a clarification, since Your statement
seems to be aimed at myself and the Sentinels guild
in particular. We have fought wars with your followers
before. I do not remember those times fondly,
but I do remember them with pride at the resolve
of the forestals, and their success in repeatedly
standing firm in adversity. While I do not wish
to see the forests harmed again, I also will not,
and never have, backed down when someone threatens
it. The Sentinels guild will certainly be ready
to stand and die, if needed, for the protection of the forest,
and it will not I am certain be alone.
We stand, as always, in defense and service to Nature.
