Judgments in error

I will not repeat and argue the points that others have already
corrected you and others on. However, I will enlighten you on the
beliefs of the Forestals in Sapience. Although officially, I speak for
the Druid Guild only, I believe that our guild shares the same beliefs
and goals as the Sentinels, Sylvans, Eleusis, and of course, Oakstone.
Neither the forestal guilds, nor rogues own the forest. As a druid with
an imprinted grove I do not own my grove. I am granted a special bond
with it by virtue of my groves skills. Flick has corrected you on this.
We forestals exist to preserve and protect nature and to live in harmony
with Nature. There is much talk about buying and selling herbs. The fact
of the matter is that the herbs are gifts to us from Nature itself.
Nature was once ruled by Mother Gaia, and upon her passing, it is now
ruled by Lady Demeter. By her grace, we are granted the privilege of
using and protecting the bounty of nature. I can tell you that in
interviewing and promoting druids from novices and out of
apprenticehood, we look for those who are truly dedicated to Nature and
willing to sacrifice to protect it. I know that Sentinels and Sylvans
look for the same qualities. Herbs are not cash cows to those of us who
are true children of Nature. Herbs are gifts granted to us by virtue of
our dedication to the preservation of their realm. And many of us are
willing to share the gifts that we have been granted with others in the
realm. This then gets to Covenant's point. We are under no obligation to
share our gifts with you or anyone. And when people or cities or other
organizations show that they do not respect Nature and its gifts, we do
have a right to withhold the bounty to them. Ergo the herb ban.

Put quite simply....we are here to serve Nature...Nature is NOT here to
serve us.
