The Phaestian Festival Dueling Tournament

Greetings all,

In the last five months, there were 28 duelings to set up the first
round for the Phaestian Festiva, hosted by the Runewardens, to honor
Lord Phaestus. I want to congratulate the winners of those duelings and
wish them good luck for their next matches in the official tournament
beginning next month (Daedalan). To the ones who unfortunately didn't
advance, thank you anyway for participating and good try! I had a
difficult time pondering how to set up the matches but in order to make
interim matches more interesting - I decided to pair up people according
to their experience rankings. Here are the matches for the first round:

Jinxsta Vs. Jhui

Rocktamer Vs. Kookluk

Xio Vs. Tsavonglah

Raymath Vs. Tehar

Aldrich Vs. Maekar

Tybalt Vs. Washu

Kiryn Vs. Westwind

Here are the few rules and how this tournament will work (If you still
do not understand, send me a message/tell and I'll clarify further):

Each match will be done in the way of 2 out of 3 best matches. Whoever
wins the first two matches of their pairup will advance. The Arena will
be Ainghaeal's Nest in Cyrene. It does not matter if it is a combat or
non-combat challenge, it's up to the fighters personally. The first
round will be during Daedalan/Aeguary, the semi-finals during
Miraman/Scarlatan, the quarter-finals during Ero/Valnuary and the final
championship done on the month of Phaestian! Now... for the most
difficult part- I realize everyone has different schedules (time-wise),
so thus that's why the rounds are spread throughout two months... Both
of each pairup must report to one of the judges (Dallam, Aeryi, Cesa, or
Bannor) through tell's or message's on each month because if you are
absent during both month of a round- you will have to be eliminated. It
would be very wise if you arranged times between your challenger and a
judge - but other than that- we would have to wait all three to be in
the realm in order for the match to happen.
That's all for now... Get prepared and best luck to everyone! Hail Lord
Phaestus! (Watch our event library-
http://www.msdhosting.co.uk/phaestianfestival.htm for the ongoing
updates to the tournament and the festival itself).
