Diocletian,
Let me clear up a few things for you old man, as you seem to have a few
misconceptions. Firstly, though an Ashuran, Rangor is not a member of
Ashtan. Secondly, your presence in Ashtan was tolerated, indeed
safeguarded by me, personally, although I felt that at the very least
your manner to Eris was condescending and your interference
counterproductive. This despite several calls by people among my party
to throw you out if not to do direct harm to your person. Thirdly,
although I do not wish to pull Rangor's loyalties into the public
spotlight, it is fairly well known to more experienced members of the
realm that he is neither an adherent nor supporter of Chaos. Stated
simply your call for sympathy and attempts to discredit Ashtan are
unfounded. Even a non-Ashtani, Rangor, felt your actions were having
negative effects on the situation at hand.
That you dared followed a Goddess without permission amazes me. That you
followed that Goddess to the city She matrons and spoke to Her in
condescending tones stupefies me. That you then come to the public
boards in an inept call for sympathy staggers me. Be that as it may,
Ashtan is under my stewardship. We follow the rule of law, our gates
stand open. The Bastion of the North welcomes its guests, even those as
ill-mannered as yourself.
Skarash Azon,
Overseer of Ashtan
Penned by my hand on the 6th of Glacian, in the year 331 AF.
