You, -you-, of all people should expect nothing of the Church. The
Church owes you nothing. If they chose to respond diplomatically or even
with 'basic manners', then that is their prerogative; moreover, it is
not your decision.

You need to take a better look at your own words, Detritus. "While I can
contact a leader regarding my personal ideas (although I am usually
spoken down to or flatly ignored)..." -- You need to examine why this
is. Understanding your faults is your only path to success.
