Concerning the defilemnt of Indrani shrines.

Let me begin with saying, that I speak on my own accord, and not that of
my city or guild. That being stated..

While I can see why followers of the Lady Eris might be inclined to
defile Lady Indrani's shrines, after all, their Goddess' kith was
imprisoned, and allowed Her rise. However. As I've noticed, members of
the Church seem to be the ones doing the most defilement, which is
ironic considering. I seem to recall, during the rise of Indrani and the
little spiel in Mhaldor, that the Church took up a stance of
uninvolvement entirely. Rather than stop what they now perceive as evil
in its tracks, they were too concerned over 'assisting' The Lady Chaos.

Allow me, a moment. If you will, to spin a few quotes from the Holy
Codex.
4) PROTECT THE INNOCENT. I don't know about the rest of Sapience, but in
my eyes, a child is an innocent regardless of who the parents are. Be
they divine or not.
5) SEEK TO END ALL EVIL. Alright. Now this one really serves my point in
this post. While perhaps Indrani is evil in the eyes of the Church, the
Church really should have been seeking to stop Her when She was rising,
rather than allowed The Lady Indrani foothold to begin with. Instead of
using the powers granted during that 'crisis', knowing of what was to be
the outcome, they took up apathy. Allowing both the innocent to suffer
and what they see as evil to thrive.

My point? That perhaps the Church should look back on their own past,
and see what allowed 'Evil' to flourish to begin with.

Thank you for the time,
Revlis Townsend
