I really do not see a distinction between evil and Evil. Evil is as evil
does.
If I was making a ploy to gain moral high ground, then so what? I
beleive I was trying to make a point through quoting a quote, and I
believe I left little confusion as to what the point was.
The people on the so called side of Good did nothing. An innocent was
maimed, a new God on the side of Evil was born. And in my eyes, all was
condoned by the very ones who claim to be sworn to protect the innocent
and twart evil at every turn by thier actions to just watch and do
nothing to stop it. Do I consider it to be a hypocrasy of the Church?
Most Certainly. Do I throw thier morals into question by doing so? Most
definately.
If pointing this out leads to me making a ploy to gain moral high
ground, then so be it. I accept that proudly and find nothing to be
ashamed of in the fact that I, one of the people whom the followers of
Righteousness condemns for being a child of Chaos, actually got off my
ass and did -something- to stop the tyranny of Evil on the day the
Church did nothing.
The only thing that I find confusing is that my point was chosen to be
nit-picked by a de Vermiis. Considering your families history. Who
Servelan de Vermiis was and who she is today and everything she stands
for, that you would chose to defend the Church over condoning the
atrocities done to an innocent, the Divine Child, Pandemonium who in
some retrospects could be considered de Vermiis himself. It is this that
leads me to question your right to even bear the great and proud name of
de Vermiis.
