Free will of the divine

I do believe that the divine have the free will to do as They like, even
when adverse to Their own ethos'....
For example:
Do you remember our Lady Eris' young son, Pandemonium, and how Lord
Sartan decided to yank Him away and perform dirty, nasty, disgusting
things to Him? How bit's and pieces of His essence were sucked from His
body, and His spirit was drained, as His body was tortured? How through
His suffering, our Lady Indrani was released? Yes, well, during this
poor, innocent child's internment, the big, nice, and righteous, oooh
yes, the righteous, Pentharian ordered His followers to *not* assist. He
took a stand that would *allow* the suffering of an as of yet innocent
divine child. Through His inaction, Lady Indrani was released, giving
our world just another bit of evil to play with.
Basically, the God of Light, Righteousness, and Good, allowed more evil
into the world, acted opposite to righteousness by not assisting a
tortured child in escape, and rather enjoyed the suffering of the
mother, as all of Her followers used all their resources to rescue poor,
poor Pandemonium. Oh, and as for the light bit... I assume that even for
the divine, it sucks to try to sleep in the light, so I'll accuse Him of
snuffing out the torches in whatever place He sleeps in, too.
