Two Points on the Subject of Chaos

1: Fourth Stage of Chaotic Manifestation - Do we get a prize if we get
to stage 10? Or is it one of those games where when you get to the last
stage you are told that true Chaos has no stages, and is everything,
thus it is impossible to be any more or less "chaotic" as even order is
chaos?

2: Bunny rabbits and "diseases" aside, understanding what Chaos is, is
very simple, at least in a general sense. Any of the Elder Divine could
tell you about these events from a first hand perspective, but if you
can't find One to talk to, HELP MYTHOLOGY has a nice account of things.
Basically two separate realms were created. Creation, in which Achaea is
located, and the realm from which Chaos spawns. "One, the realm we know,
was filled with a multitude of planes and universes, each with its own
set of physical and immutable laws. The other was a realm of pure chaos
and was anathema to Creation."

We could debate about whether the first introduction of Chaos to this
plane was a good or bad thing (though Ayar was rather clear on it being
a bad thing). We could also debate whether or not the reintroduction of
Chaos into this plane, first by occultists seeking to gain personal
power and then later more successfully by the mortal Servelan, was a
good or bad thing (independent of the methods they used to do so, which
any sane person would have to say were an Evil act in every sense of the
word, as they relied on the destruction of the many for the power of the
few). The fact remains that it happened.

And now, with the help of the personification (Deification?) of Chaos in
the form of Eris, the modern occultists were able to finish the
experiments that their predecessors failed at. This has once again begun
to bring more Chaos into this world.

Now Sarapis Himself has said that Chaos could destroy this plane and He
would not stop it. Clearly some people want to risk the chance as long
as they gain some power and are able to get drunk on tequila, while
others think that the chance is not worth taking and thus seek to remove
such a threat to their lives.

So by all means call us crazy, but the Shakira affect is real, it does
happen, and pure Chaos is a bad thing, no matter if you are a farmer,
snake, or occultist. Nothing you can say will change it, but if you like
the sound of your own voice, please keep talking.

Feral, Disciple of Lorielan

P.S. For those who say that only Eris knows what Chaos is, I would say
that I actually agree. After all She is the only Divine who is actually
made of the stuff. Still do not confuse knowledge with truth, Twilight
is not the only one who understands how to use His methods effectively.
Bunnies and jesters...if only everyone were so easy to fool.

Penned by my hand on the 13th of Phaestian, in the year 328 AF.
