A Chaos Perspective

Greetings my fellow inhabitants of Sapience. I am here to address an
issue that has caused quite a ruckus recently. It seems that the city of
Shallam would call chaos a "disease," that is contagious and deadly. I
would just like to bring up several points and let the world formulat an
opinion for themselves instead of hearing the propagandistic and biased
views of the Church. I think that we should start with the basics and,
since spelling seems to be a focal point let me apologize aforehand for
any errors you may fine.
To quote an exact definition, "Chaos is the disordered state of
uniformed matter and infinite space believe to have existed before the
ordered univers. One may refer to the post by Lady Eris as far as her
definition of Chaos. As for my personal definition, chaos is a state of
existence. We know that we have good; the beliefs of which are based
upon righteousness, honour, humility, and charity. Evil is found to
follow paths involving strength, intimidation, and a love for exposing
the weaknesses of all who oppose them. Chaos is neither of these; good
nor evil. Chaos roots its beliefs in freedom, individuality,
scholarship, and wisdom to name a few. As I have stated, these are my
views on chaos and it means something different to everyone, as are the
definitions of good and evil no doubt.
Chaos is NOT a single celled organism that crawls onto one's skin and
makes its way into the brain to feed, grow, and corrupt; this much is
fact. The very idea Chaos is carried in the outward shell of the flesh
is, to me at least, amusing. When we, as Occultists, becom Chaos lords
or ladies, it is not merely an outward change of appearance. Whew we
reach this level of achievement we transcend to a higher state of mind.
Not only our bodies, but our entire existence becomes a thing of Chaos.
Our thoughts, our actions, our bodies, our words; all are chaos. So,
lords and ladies of Shallam, in order to effectively remove chaos and
any chance f "corruption" you all would hav eto lock your citizens
within your own walls to avoid any physical contact with us.
Furthermore, you would have to block from sight any post, any shout, any
messag, or letter from us for, as I said, our very thoughts; indeed, our
existence is chaos.
Now, on to the accusations that Occultsits are heartless killers. I
would like for the citizens of Sapience to recall the time when
Pandemonium, the divine child of Lord Aegis and Lady Eris was being
tortured beneath Baelgrim Fortress by Lord Sartan, the Malevolent.
Agreably, Mhaldor is a common enemy to many and a universal effort went
out as many joined in the attempt to free the child. Now, ask yourselves
where the compassionate and righteous city of Shallam was while the
child was maimed and disfigured; appendages torn from his body? Wait! I
remember, they sat and watched with cold and uncaring eyes on the
sidelines. Did you perhaps see the Occultists a greater threat than a
divine and an ENTIRE city? If that isn't enough, look back to a group
known as the Templars. Masses of Occultists were captured, tortured, and
burned alive at their hands merely because their beliefs didn't align to
those of the Church. Now it seems that this wonderful group is being
reconstructed. Now, considering these small details, we aren't quite the
brutal murdrers after all.
Undoubtedly, the majority of the citizens of Shallam will turn a blind
eye and a deaf ear to these words. Well, many say that ignorance is
bliss and Shallam must be having a grand celebration at the moment. Open
your eyes and your minds and do the world a favour; stop being so
paranoid of something that you can't escape from. Chaos is in the air
you breath, the ground you tread, the thoughts that enter your mind.
Chaos needs not to infect you, for it is already within you. Vigilantly
yours, Drachius de Vermiis.
