Cyrene

Hail Sapience, and the City of Cyrene.

Forgive the history lesson. A few years past there was a great dispute
between Mhaldor and Cyrene regarding Cyrene's patron, Lord Phaestus.
Mhaldor at that time made a demand of Cyrene that they choose another
Patron, and Cyrene refused. In the years since, Mhaldor and Cyrene have
taken turns being at one another's throats, and all seems to have
stemmed from that.

Cyrene is a sovereign city-state. They choose their Patron of their own
accord, and no city has the right to make demands of another regarding
that. I apologize to Cyrene and the Cyrenians for making a demand we had
no right to make.

Mhaldor hereby withdraws all hostility to Cyrene, in exchange for the
same assurance. We each have more important things to deal with than
each other. No Mhaldorian will enter the city of Cyrene with violent
ends. I have been assured that the same can be said of Cyrenians. This
is agreed upon and to by the highest echelons of each city's power
structure. I am merely the scribe who sets it down.
