Perhaps if you took a moment to sit back and review all the facts before
opening your mouth, my dear Xandu, you wouldn't be so openly snuffed by
the Divine who have taken offence to your blatant disrespect.
Lord Sartan made it quite clear in a previous post from Himself that
Sunrise is being punished for his actions against Lady Demeter. How you
missed that is beyond me as it was quite clearly stated as to why Lord
Sartan has taken Sunrise and seen fit to teach him a lesson ... or many.
As for asking if They think They can get away with that? Perhaps this is
news to you as it seems you're among one of the few Aegeans who feel
they have the right to insult, lash out against or speak down to the
Divine here, but They are Divine, They can get away with whatever They
please.
Now it ires me that you, one who I'd think would have learned his lesson
by now, has the gall to address the various Divine as `Sartan`,
`Twilight` and `Indrani`. Surely your Lord taught you more respect than
that, but maybe now that He's not here to give you the smack down now
and again you feel you can get away with anything your little heart,
desires. Generally Jack is not on my list of favorite people but at
least he had enough respect to apologize for you and the way your
behavior is reflecing on your entire order. If you cared so much about
your Lord and the order you claim is almighty, I'd think it'd reflect
more in your actions and your deeds, though it does not and that ... in
truth ... does not surprise me at all.
A little lesson in addressing the Divine might do you some good. First
of all merely addressing Them by Their name, ie - Sartan, Twilight and
Indrani, is unacceptable, even if you don't particularly like that
specific God. There is no excuse to address them as any less than Lord
or Lady. If that wasn't clear to you I'll make it a bit more clear, Lord
Sartan, Lord Twilight and Lady Indrani - though even that is a mistake
but seeing as you rarely do your homework I'll fill you in in a moment.
Also, it's polite and considered respectful to capitalize You, Your,
etc. Just a few tips, use them well.
Your post has quite literally hit home with me, and not in a pleasant
way. I took quite a bit of offence to the way you addressed those three
specific Divine, as Lord Sartan is the Patron of my city, Lord Twilight
used to be Father to me in Darkness and you've personally insulted my
Lady. Where is it your right to even state anything in such a tone as,
"If you do just a little research you will notice that we were ALWAYS on
the winning side"? It looks to me as if you're on the losing side right
now Xandu, though perhaps you find those Divine disfavours fashionable.
As for my Lady, learn to address Her correctly if you find it necessary
to address Her at all, and since looking into things might be a little
too much work for you I'll make it simple, A'vroth'd'mhal. Learn it,
remember it and never slander it. I'd have let you figure that one out
on your own, but it'll save Her the trouble of having to correct any
mortals who do not address Her propperly.
