I think I might have missed something while I was out bashing rats. Oh,
what was it? Ah! Yes. My enemy status in Mhaldor. The same enemy status
every single person in the Dark Order received recently. *chin* Now how
did I get this... Oh! Right! I remember now. I was out in Mhaldor, going
crazy with globs of chaos and obsidian pieces, and having nasty run-ins
with all the wonderful guards.
I'm reminded of a little incident, which happened in my far-off youth.
You see, there were two people I really disliked. One of the was
Dresden, and one of them was Andelas. Now, since Andelas liked to chop
off my head more than Dresden, I liked him a little less. So when
Andelas and his cronies showed up one fine evening, I happily jumped on
my chimera and went off chasing him, with my second-most-hated enemy at
my side.
Once his head was nicely piked at NoT, Dresden and I went to our usual
cat and mouse games, in which, sadly, I was all too often the mouse. But
I hope I made my point.
For a common task, even enemies may work together briefly. For all your
Aegean bluster, you seem to forget that the key to war is not brute
force, but strategy. And in your strong wisdom, you forget yet another
thing.
The world doesn't revolve around you.
You're forgetting many things in the absence of your Lord. I only hope
that His return will be immanent, that He may shape His followers back
into respectable warriors and not thugs with no understanding of
anything except their testosterone levels.
And oh yes. I believe the headlines during the last conflict was,
"Aegeans throw selves against wall. Dark order infiltrates all Sapience.
Sarapis the Logos has to step in to break the monopoly."
Then again, maybe you should pry Xandor or Napoloen up and share your
opinion with them. Or perhaps Drakul? I'd enjoy to see their reactions
if you told them they ran in fear. Very much so.
Lord Twilight has made his stance clear. He has paid Sartan back for His
betrayal of Valnurana, and He has done all He is able to protect the son
of Aegis. His part is done, and He is no longer concerned in your
affairs, in any way. I know that having all the Deities of sapience be
on your side must really make you feel self-important. But don't get
used to it. You're not the center of anyone's universe but your own.
Not a sermon. Just a thought.
