In your first post, you not only insulted my Guild as whole, you
insulted my City as well. You also insulted me by presuming to
categorize the overall purpose and motivation of the Occultists after
you'd seen one bad incident with one of our kind. Then, in your second
post, you said everything was directed supremely at Choronik, not
Occultists or Ashtanites. Perhaps you should then reword your first
post, as you very obviously insulted the Occultists as a whole.
Also, you claim Choronik has no valid reason to slay you. Now, perhaps
he does not, but he once did, because you defended--or tried to
defend--your brother. That is a valid PK reason. Defending or aiding
your allies in any way (this includes healing or summoning) gives the
enemy that is attacking your ally reason to then in turn attack you. But
I assume you of course know all of this.
Do I know the whole story? No. Do I care to know the whole story? Not
really. Am I taking Choronik's side? No. In all honesty I think his post
was just as moronic as yours. Most people don't care to hear you air
your dirty laundry. Screaming about how evil and wicked Occultists are
isn't going to get you much of anywhere. Half the people you're speaking
to already think the Occultists are evil, rude, barbaric creatures. The
other half know better. Your complaints fall on nearly deaf ears.
And to Feral. Not surprisingly, you have the basic narrow-mind of a
Shallamite. You see only the "Evil" that an experiment uses, instead of
the potential greatness that could come from such research. And who the
hell said we claimed to be snuggly nice people? Who said we wanted to be
snuggly nice people? By your standards, we will never be. By our
standards, we already are. Just because you think we're wicked and
sinful doesn't make it so, my dear. It just means you, like so many
others, have been brainwashed to not see things in a different light. As
Occultists, we are obviously very different from you. We are very
different from most people in Sapience, except for a few things. We are
all mortal. Within us, we all have the capacity for Good, for Evil, for
Chaos, for Order, for Love, for Hate, for War, for Peace, for Knowledge,
for Ignorance, for Darkness, and for Light. In that sense, we are no
different from you.
