The Alliance between Chaos and Nature

My dear brother Sartan:
It is truly a pity to see You reduced to such petty usage of language
and thiny veiled arguments. You say that this Alliance will cause Life
to be destroyed, but when has this become any concern of Yours? You, who
exterminated the Grove of Gaia at whim, You who sought to destroy the
Darkenwood and reduce it to a decayed husk...You whose followers have a
grasp on Necromancy, magic which by its very nature destroys and twists
life to operate.
No, dear heart, You do not have a very good view of Life or Nature at
all.
The very introduction of Chaos into these realms created humankind.
Chaos, like the very Cycle of Nature, is both creative and destructive.
Indeed, when Winter descends on the realms, the natural cycle of nature
destroys many plants and calls out the natural instincts of survival in
many animals. The cycle of predator and prey, life and death, creation
and destruction...this is central to the concept of Nature. When Spring
evolves from Winter, this cycle is renewed.
This Alliance between Eris and I is strictly between two concerned
Divine Mothers. Eris for Her Son, and I for the Divine Birthing Tree.
Together, Eris and I seek to protect these things from the unnatural
forces which seek to destroy them.
I truly pity You, Sartan, for Your bitterness has closed Your eyes to
even the most normal and natural pleasures of the beauty of the wilds.
May Your steps be filled with sunshine,
Demeter, Goddess of Nature
