An apology
Written by: Dark Lady Silverstorm Trismegistus
Date: Tuesday, January 28th, 2003
Addressed to: Eris, Goddess of Chaos
Lady Eris,
I must apologize from the depths of my heart for the offense I have
brought to You by my words. As my Father mentioned, I was merely
summarizing the teachings of Darkness, but regardless, I should have
kept the tenets of Chaos in mind, for it has always been my policy to
not contradict the theologies to which I adhere. In truth, I hold Your
teachings to heart, and I have spent many nights absorbed in the
writings of the Lady Servelan. Within my role as an Occultist, such an
error is grave indeed, and I gladly bear Your punishment.
I shall engross myself further into the tomes and teachings of Chaos, as
to avoid making another crude statement in the future, and if my
knowledge proves sufficient, perhaps I can find a way to make a fitting
tribute to the Goddess who has contributed so much to the guild which is
my home. Until such a way is found, I shall sacrifice to You, though I
know essence is insufficient payment for angering a deity.
Once again, I offer my deepest regret, that I should further disturb
Your peace of mind - especially in times as trying as these. It shall
not happen again.
