I beseech Sapience not to heed Sartan's lies. The Divine Child of War
and Chaos is trapped in a fissure, yes, held there by the melding of
Evil and Dreams through the Eye of Proteus and the power drained from
the Darkenwood. Although other Gods contributed, unknowingly, to My
Child's fate, it is Sartan who bears the whole responsibility for
manipulating, betraying and through pure malice orchestrating the events
that enabled him to place My Child in jeopardy.

For her part, Valnurana has offered hope. The well in Ashtan, the fontis
in Hashan, the crater in Cyrene, the cauldron in Eleusis, and the mirror
in Shallam were all created through the Eye of Proteus, and can be used
to free My Child. I beseech the cities of Sapience to use these
artifacts of power to help Me in this time of need. And, if you have no
love of Chaos or War, think of the innocent child who is at risk?
Whatever Sartan hopes to gain from this foul ritual must be weighed
against this innocent, divine life. Do not let Sartan succeed! Free the
child! If you have any love for the innocent, any compassion for a
mother's plight to save her son's life, please, please help save the
child!
