your idea

Such a proposal would appeal to the individual's vanity and allow them to develop their character in a way that they would like, but might not be true to the roleplaying experience here in Achaea. It would have to be pretty limited to simple, basic things as when your character is 'created' here it is feeble and pathetic and thus stringing a great story of is exploits prior to then would sound foolish. Also if you build yourself up too much you could cause irritation to other players / gods. For instance saying "I am Gaia's father and when she was little she was such a naughty little goddess... oh and now I'm mortal because I wanted to be... But even so I am really great and powerful and wonderful..." would land you in a heap of trouble.

Having said that please feel free to tell the world anything you wish to about yourself. We may or may not want to hear it but please keep it quite brief. You don't want people to think that your sole purpose is to waste newsroom space and deliver reams of drivel for them to ignore.

Its really up to you and anyone else who wants to tell their life story whether or not to do it in the newsroom and what you / they should say. If you do decide to fabricate your youth and heritage try not to be too pretentious or arrogant. But in my opinion you are better off ignoring your 'pre-creation' past and making you presence, building a life for your 'character' and sticking to it, rather than writing something really exciting about your childhood that you cannot live up to.

Damn. I had hoped to keep this short but, as always, my words have multiplied. Before I end this article, I put emphasis on living in Achaea and interacting with its inhabitants. Get to know the various members of the different societies in Achaea. Anyone who knows me and has been to the Tomacula village or the Tsol'aa village in the Aalen forest knows about my interactions with the natives...
