This post officially opens the festival of fools. Those guilds that have
paid are responsible for notifying their own members. If your guild
doesn't let you know in some way, either assume you are not attending,
or ask your secretaries. Due to the wide spread of guilds involved, most
updates will, unfortunately, clutter this board, but hopefully this will
be the last one neccessary. The list of dates, times, and locations are
listed in post 10344. Note that in less than a month's time, the Bardaic
and Description contests will be open for entry.
There has been a slight change to it.
All entries to either of these contests that are entered by mail are to
be mailed by achaean post to Cosmos, not Niari nor me.
For any guild in attendence that wishes to participate in the Guild Vs
Guild arena, the fee of 23k gold or 23k goods (herbs, armor, weapons,
bombs, ect) must be given to Druid Trae up to an hour before the match.
If he has not recieved your payment by then, it will be assumed that you
do not wish to participate. The winning guild will be given the total of
it by then.
I will be rescaling the prize amounts to reflect the large interest in
the festival. A message with the new ones will be sent to each of the 9
guilds participating. I also would urge all guilds participating to read
the rules, and make sure their guilds understand them, as the crowd is
very diverse. Preaching of... well... anything really, due to the range
of the crowd, will be considered hostile.
Enjoy the festival.
