Eleusis

Greetings All,

Having personally visited the City of Eleusis to request entrance for my
small group of Priests to come and meet with locals, offering discussion
and debate to the more inquisitive among them, I was informed that if I
did not leave, I would be enemied.

As part of the Unholy Priesthood's rotation from city to city, many of
us met without weapon nor hostile intention outside the Gatehouse of
Eleusis. Among out number were no less than seven Novices. Upon making
our intentions clear as a peaceful gathering encouraging those who
wished to speak with a Priest on the nature of Lord Sartan's truths to
do so, we were approached by a few citizens.

Questions did eventually begin. A small discussion ensued, and things
seemed to be going well in our efforts to create a less violent set of
interractions between those of Mhaldor and elsewhere. Without warning,
or rather with a single voice amidst the others saying 'You are not
welcome, leave now.', many of us were enemied. The guards at the
gatehouse killed many of our unarmed Priests as they sat is humble
discussion.

Had we been hostile? Nay. Had we been rude? Nay. Had we been suspicious?
Nay. Did we even step within the City? Nay - on the Gatehouse only.

Why is it that a group so dedicated to portraying themselves as
'Neautral' 'peaceful' and even 'thoughtful', would commit such
outrageous acts against a group of peaceful 'guests'.

This hardship will indeed strengthen our spirit, and unfortunately, in
some of the novices minds, probably their anger toward those not of the
Lord. Continue to give fresh minds cause for violence, and violence
shall appear. Strength can be displayed in more than one way - know that
The Unholy Priesthood is bound tighter by such atrocities, and will not
give up on it's attempts to offer those of a truly open mind the path to
Truth.

Leave our priests enemied, Eleusis, and see how you further your much
acclaimed peace in the lands.

Truly a day of disgrace for the Forests.

Detritus.

Penned by my hand on the 19th of Aeguary, in the year 325 AF.
