Many of those who now make up the citizenry of Mhaldor once plotted
against my home city, then raised their blades against her outright. And
my blade was raised against them, in defense of the Bastion of the
North. And the Bastion of the North triumphed.

Not long ago, Mhaldorians led by one of their Viceroys desecrated the
Chaos Plane sacred to my guild. For that insult, the firmament of
Sapience sang with the blood of Mhaldor for seven months, at my and my
guildmates' hands.

Now, when Mhaldorians have violated not only my city grounds, but the
wedding of my beloved daughter, I do not stand by idle with my sword
sheathed.

I pledge my sword to the Ashurans, and my support to the words written
here by Skarash Azon before mine.
