Fourth Interguild Festival of Fools

Written by: Mischievous Druid Raes Longshanks, Beast of Upheaval
Date: Friday, December 20th, 2002
Addressed to: Everyone

Three festivals have occured so far fostering guilds working together,
and just plain old having fun. All three have been hosted by Druids and
Jesters, and had larger and larger numbers of guilds invited. This will
be the first of the festivals open to the public, and any and all guilds
may participate. We ask that any guild wishing to participate to message
me, Raes, and transfer 15 credits to me. This will not go into any guild
coffers, and the prizes of the festival will be scaled according to how
many guilds decide to join.

There is a very simple rule that must be followed by all participants-
Do not offend anyone, or hurt anyone at the festival. All PK by all
participating guilds between eachother is to be suspended during the
festival, as it denies the purpose of it- to have some fun. There is
ample arena events to get out that bloodlust, and arenas will be
available on request during it.

Each guild will get 3 base strikes, which may be extended, or removed,
if the guilds are felt to take appropriate action to prevent repeat
violations.
1) The offender is banned from all future events of that festival.
2) The guild is removed from the festival, without refund.
3) The guild is not allowed to attend future festivals.

Since this is expected to be a reoccuring event, at every five achaean
years, for every festival passed without a strike, one will be forgiven.
Due to the security required, any guild over 75 in topguilds at the time
of an event and that participate are asked, but not required, to provide
a guard in order to help control any upstarts, attacks, or otherwise.

Finally, I and Niari especially, or whoever is running the event at the
time, is to be obeyed during events. The runner of the event defines the
rules, and if he or she decides to make a change, even in the middle of
it, it will take precidence.

Any questions can be directed to I or Niari.

Below is the full list of events, with tentative dates and times.

Finally, Congratulations to all the original guilds- last year was our
150th anniversary. May we all last another 150 years.
