Church

I think I am not the only one who is curious about the current status
of the Church in terms of what divinities currently are on the rise
and on the wane. Of course, it is the Church's privilege to keep such
doctrines secret and I am merely wondering if any Church official
would care to make a statement. Of course, actions speak louder than
words, and the only preaching I have ever heard was Gawain's sermon
in the name of Thoth, and the only public patronage of a templar that
I can recall was Gawain entering the order of Daedelus. So, I am
wondering, is the Church currently upholding the teachings of Death
and Balance?

Also, I have heard murmurs in the past of the Church being the voice
of goodness. But, according to the histories, it appears the Church
is more the voice of "order". Would a Church official care to clarify
what exactly their purpose currently is? If indeed it is to impose
order upon the land, might the Church be so bold as to reveal how they
will accomplish this? Again, these are only questions of the curious
minded and if the Church chooses to remain silent on these subjects,
I for one will certainly understand the Church's desire to keep its
agenda a secret.
