Violence, death, war.
These things have come to Cyrene and have cost the lives of many
citizens.
Cyrenians fight to defend their patron, Phaestus. Mhaldorians fight
against us because they somehow enemied this god. Now they attack us
because of our beliefs.
What will come of this war? Absolutely nothing. If we win, we will
simply have repelled the Mhaldorians till they regain strength. If we
lose, they destroy temples and shrines but we will not lose faith in
Phaestus. So this war, costing the lives of many Achaeans, will simply
continue unless some compromise is made.
I realize that negotiations have already been attempted but failed. But
they must be tried again and again till something happens.
Hopefully this makes some influence on the people that read it. Maybe
even inspire people to try and end the war. If not, then I have done
what I can to try and end this war.
