Greetings,
For the following year we will abide by the old treaty that was created
by...well two of the four of us and some people who have passed on. My
guild has each price listed on our enchantment prices guildhelp file,
and will abide by it.
Glor will be my representitive at any meetings held for the treaty. He
knows where our guild stands, and is a very capable man. Despite your
recent insults towards him, I hope that he works well for my guild. I
myself, will not attend such meetings because I feel it only turns the
meetings into a battle of tempers, and nothing gets accomplished. Don't
take this step as my showing no wish for a treaty. It is my placing
personal feelings aside, so that my guild can gain by helping first
create, then uphold a treaty that would benift all mage guilds.
Personally I feel that some of you are nothing more then children fit
not to lead a dog on a walk, but that is personally. Should you wish to
sit there and call names at me, fine. I accept that, I'm sure I've done
well to earn them. Know though, that it is a waste of your breath. While
I'm sure in Shallam, Solar's words declaring me a worthless magi are
meant to bring harm. They bring me only Pride. I am not Magi, I am
Warlock. A different breed entirely. And while Caleth cares only to
insult, and call me a coward, that is his choice as well. I know who I
am. My guild knows who I am. I am faithful to my Guild, to myself, and
to my beliefs. Insults will never change that, death will never change
that. I am who I am, and I would be nothing else were I given a chance.
That said, this is a Professional matter. This treaty is to be between
four guilds. Not four people. Many enchanters will be tied to such a
treaty, and so I willingly place my personal feeling aside. And in an
attempt to help you do the same, I have replaced myself with a strong
young man with whom carries my fullest confidance. Create your meeting,
and invite the young Warlock Glor. He will be prepared to represent my
entire Guild in such a gathering. I hope that this treaty is tacted out
and finished with the upmost speed.
You have my personal, and professional word, that our guild now follows
the old treaty for the period of a single year. Ad 75 is void.
High Warlock,
Jack Moonflair
