Thoth's Awakening

Greetings, Achaea.
I have been inquiring recently about those who are intrested in Thoth,
the Deathgod's teachings. I'm here to outline some of what Death's
tenets are. First, the Followers of Thoth do not fear Death, but rather
accept it, whether it be slaying someone or dying yourself. Second,
there is the opposition of Undeath, since that is 'cheating' Thoth, as
the undead never die unless they are destroyed. These are the two basic
Tenets of Death that I'm working with right now, after reading the
Mythos and a couple public posts that Thoth has made.

Thoth first appeared to mortal eyes in 178 AF and was later involved in
the plot of Death's Heart, albeit whiel He was sleeping. Thoth's first
member of His Order was the Serpentlord founder, Crotalus. Going back
Millenia, Thoth was involved in the War of Humanity, on the side of the
Elder gods and against the Triumvirate. He was a fierce warrior in the
battle, and even saw most of His Quisilas die in a daring raid on the
Enemy's camp. Even Slith, Prince of the Underworld, was terrified of
Thoth and ran away back to the Underworld rather than face Thoth's
wrath.

This is where the Awakening of Thoth comes in. During His sleep, there
has never been any real reason to Awaken Him, aside from the small
number of people who follow Him's desire to have the God of their belief
present. Now, however, there is a new reason that most of Sapience can
appreciate: Slith kidnapped Lord Aegis' and Lady Eris' son, the twin of
Lady Pandora, as most of you know. It has been several years since this
event, and still Slith has not been caught. There have also been some
Visions among the Ashura and Shallam, I believe, of Thoth chasing around
Slith. As I stated earlier, Slith is very afraid of Thoth. Now is the
time to bring the Deathgod out of His sleep and back to Sapience. If you
wish to help with this, or wish to learn the ways of Death, message me
and I will gladly talk with you. Thank you for your time, Sapience, and
hopefully Thoth will grace us with His prescence soon
