The Elysian Order's Stance on Ransom's Actions

Greetings, Sapience
Ransom committed an act stating it was in the name of Light. In truth,
the act was committed by Ransom and a few who conspired with him. As is
know, Ransom pretended to betray the city of Light and left. Soon after
the Naga were formed, he joined their ranks and advanced quickly. All
this was part of his own personal plot. He outguilded some 84 members of
the Naga and then left the guild. He then returned to Shallam and
shortly thereafter was given the ultimate punishment by the Logos
himself.
Allow me to clarify some points to the populace of Sapience. Lord
Pentharian did not have any knowledge of the activities of Ransom until
after he rejoined Shallam. Lord Pentharian does not condone Ransom's
actions. Lastly, Ransom acted without the aid of any member of the
Elysian order.
Ransom committed an act that may be construed to be Righteousness, yet
in truth, it is a total antithesis to Righteousness. His actions were
blatantly wrong, even if he has stated his intentions were good. The
Naga are an organization tainted with evil, undeniably. Ransom justifies
his action stating that he was freeing an oppressed people. His method
was flawed. In a perfect Achaea the end state could be said to be
Righteous and Good. But we are well aware we live within the Laws of
Sapience and have embeded them into our daily lives. One of those laws
would never condone the punishment of those members of the guild who
have so much to lose by an outguilding. We feel sorrow for those that
were unjustly ousted and felt a grievous loss. We rejoice at the Logo's
for His quick action in dealing with the one that would so bring harm to
others without using one iota of inteligent matter in his decision
making process
Please direct any questions you have on the matter to myself.
