Spare us.

You (and some cohorts) left for Shallam, a city that openly opposes
certain religions, to preach chaos. Chaos just so happens to fall into
the category of opposed. Do not act innocent. You can hide behind pretty
words and long posts. You can dissect others' posts, and take quotes out
of context to support your "cause". But the true reason you went to
Shallam still remains perfectly clear: you went to get a rise out of Her
citizens.

What you did was agressive. An aggressor does not necessarily have to
bear a sword, or for that matter, a gnarled hand. A flapping mouth works
all the same.

You are twenty years old. You knew exactly what you were doing. You were
asked to desist, and you did not. You continued on, and one of your
partners was enemied. If that had been me who enemied, all of you would
have found yourselves branded, and all of you would have prayed to the
Logos.

So you succeeded in getting a rise out of the Shallamese, and now you
are bitching on the public boards about how unfairly you were treated.
Do you expect sympathy?

Perhaps, instead of the rise I expect you wanted (truly, I am cynical),
you are merely jaded by the numerous freedoms you are allowed up north.
But that is no excuse. If you are old enough to preach chaos, you are
old enough to know which cities oppose chaos.
