Rayin and an old fool

Hear me Achaea!

I am stupid and a fool! Rayin Weltsdown is the greatest thing that ever
happened to me and I thoughtlessly toyed with her heart. Now I am,
deservedly, alone. Worse, I have saddened one of the brightest smiles to
walk this fine land, lessening us all. I kneel before every citizen of
Achaea, all of the immortals, and most importantly Rayin herself and
apologize for all of the pain I have caused.

Rayin, you are my one, true, and only love. What I did was unforgivable.
But here I am, before you, the gods, and all of Achaea asking you to
look past my flaws and know that everything that happened was my fault
and no other. I ask you to understand that what I did was thoughtless
but it was not malicious or cruelly intentioned. It was the act of an
unthinking idiot whos head is thick stone with a bubble of air where his
brain should be. I would give anything, all that I am, to see you smile
once more.

Gayat the Fool, Gayat the Lost

Penned by my hand on the 20th of Sarapin, in the year 315 AF.
