Poetry News Post #983

Nothing

Written by: Snuggly Warflower Violet Skar'Akai
Date: Monday, January 14th, 2002
Addressed to: La Belle Dame Sans Merci, Chammilla Lena-Weltsdown

Tongues lashed out like shredding bear claw
You were caught with rebound down.
But roots go deep, do not forget it.
Boughs lift high and you can see.

Rise above in eagle splendor
Burrow under, wolv'rine cave
Scamper through the sunlit treetop
Laugh and prance and pounce away.

Those who've hurt you, let them suffer
With the thought that cruelty wins
I, for one, love and adore you
Weeping Willow, Laughing Friend

Penned by my hand on the 14th of Ero, in the year 296 AF.
