Effigy

Written by: Sister Undine, Flower of the Sentaari

Addressed to: Everyone

Unforgiving winters bear down upon my deeds
Drowning my essence in freezing white.

I have never bothered to realize who my enemies are
Or to comprehend how I tormented them.

I have never desired to know my fate
Or to foresee how I shall perish.

At this moment as I take my last breath,
I know I have never cared for anything
As I care now to embrace yet another day.

Undine

May we all find our peace before it is too late.

Penned by my hand on the 15th of Glacian, in the year 243 AF.
