Open Invitation: Festival of the Moon Haiku contest

Greetings and well met, poets of Sapience. If you've been paying attention to the public news you've heard about the Haiku competition coming up in regards to the Festival of the Moon. For those who haven't heard or who need a refresher I'll reiterate the details here.

What: A presentation and competition of poetry, done in the style of Haiku.

Where: The Garden of Whispers in Tasur'ke.

When: The 10th of Aeguary, 1012. Just shy of two months of this posting.

Who: Everyone! All are welcome to join.

Why?! Credits!! And other shiny things. Also, and perhaps most importantly, a chance to share your work and collaborate with other like-minded artists.

Like the Nightcleaver Herself, Haiku is paradoxical. It is at once uniform and concise - putting everyone on equal footing - and filled with infinite possibility. With those seventeen simple syllables you can unlock worlds. I, for one, am thrilled to see where we'll go.

As always, feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions, either about this particular event or the Festival in general. I look forward to seeing you all there.

In Truth,
Danthan Ebonclaw

Penned by my hand on the 19th of Sarapin, in the year 1012 AF.
