Happiness

Don't look at me like that
as if you'd conquer the world beside me
as if you'd wager your life for mine
as if devotion were something you'd wear without fear
because if you do, you should know this

I would go to impossible lengths to make you happy
I would move mountains quietly
Burn my hands reaching for your joy
and call it purpose

So don't look at me like that unless you mean it
Unless you're ready to stay
To choose me with the same recklessness
with which I would choose you

Penned by my hand on the 11th of Miraman, in the year 1000 AF.
