I was too weak to leave a scar,
too quiet to be known by name,
I watched the stronger travel far
while I remained, untouched by fame.

If I am lost when days are done,
a shadow passed, unheard, unseen,
know this: I stood when I could not run,
and held my ground in between.

Penned by my hand on the 25th of Valnuary, in the year 997 AF.
