Final Lullaby

Written by: Daduchos Ryssa Embersong, Epopt of Goldentide

Addressed to: Tu'eras, the Tsol'aa King

Shattered mind,
turning to protect the only light.

Shattered glass,
reflecting light of hope so bright.

"Sleep child...
sleep.

I'll chase the nightmares away.

Dream of bears,
slumbering away.

Of the swift deer,
bask in sun's rays.

Lie just a while
in sleep's sweet embrace.

And know all'll
be well,
when you wake.

Just remember my love
when you wake.

Mind not the rose,
in red they bloom.

Blade sharp thorns
shed scarlet hue.

Look to the dawn,
oh my sweet child.

Look to the dawn,
for the sun will rise.

And remember my love,
when you open your eyes."

Penned by my hand on the 24th of Aeguary, in the year 993 AF.
