Misery loves company,
She always tries to find a way,
To barge into my world
and make it dull and grey.
I wish she'd just leave me alone,
And go live her own life.
I have better things to do,
and I don't want her strife.

Misery loves company,
But I don't invite her in.
She likes to stop by unannounced,
and lament where she's been.
But I don't owe her comfort.
And I don't owe her peace.
She's far below my notice,
and her bullshit needs to cease.

I don't owe her my attention,
I have long since moved on.
Don't know why she hangs around,
Because I'm already gone.
So she can get lost with her nonsense,
Don't care what she tells her gang.
But Misery loves company,
and I ain't down to hang.
