Two of a Kind. A Kind of Two.

Your warmth once filled my days,
Holding winter's chill at bay,
Two hearts that found a home,
Neither had known.

But seasons ever change,
Realigning what once aligned,
Snow may fall again,
Yet in me, warmth sustains.

For the light our union shone,
Need not darken when its gone,
Its memory glows within,
To guide where I walk on.

May you ever walk toward light,
Through cold and storm, shine warm and bright,
And know youll have my smile,
Across every lonely mile.

Penned by my hand on the 6th of Valnuary, in the year 934 AF.
