Cyrene (Petrachan)

In Cyrene's embrace, where mountains kiss the sky,
A city nestled, cradled in nature's hand.
Majestic peaks, like guardians, firmly stand,
Their silent whispers, ancient tales imply.

Valleys echo with tales of times gone by,
Where history weaves its intricate strand.
In cobblestone streets, memories command,
A legacy that time cannot deny.

The mountain city breathes with tranquil grace,
Each hill and valley, a scenic refrain.
In sunlit days or when the moon is lain,
Cyrene's allure, a timeless embrace.

Oh, city cradled in the mountain's fold,
Your beauty in each story gently told.

Penned by my hand on the 2nd of Valnuary, in the year 932 AF.
